Tutors & Exams South Africa is more than just an exam centre. While examinations are our speciality, we also pride ourselves on building community through events that support and connect homeschooling, online and alternative learning families. Throughout the year, we host, sponsor and attend a range of events designed to provide information, guidance and social opportunities.

Below is what you can look forward to from Tutors & Exams SA in 2026 so far. More events will be added as the year progresses.
Open Days – Cape Town & Pretoria
31 January 2026
Our Open Days give candidates, parents and learning partners the opportunity to visit our exam centres and meet our team. These sessions are highly informative and cover key topics such as the exam process, Access Arrangements, USAf, SAQA and the different awarding bodies, including CIE and Pearson Edexcel.
Merit Evening – Cape Town & Pretoria
23 April 2026
The Merit Evening is an opportunity for candidates and their families to celebrate both academic and personal achievements. The awards presentation is followed by a cocktail-style gathering, allowing guests to mingle and connect with fellow homeschooling families.
KragDag – Pretoria
6–8 August 2026

KragDag is an externally hosted event focusing on alternative living, with a strong emphasis on homeschooling. We exhibit there each year to provide families with information about exam pathways and answer questions related to Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel and general assessment processes.
End-of-Year Dances – Cape Town & Pretoria
September 2026
Hosted by Tutors & Exams SA, these dances are a highlight of the year. Similar to a Prom or Matric Dance, the event gives candidates across the homeschooling community the chance to dress up, celebrate and enjoy their red-carpet moment.
EduXplore – Pretoria & Cape Town
Pretoria: 17 October 2026

EduXplore is an education-focused exhibition that showcases opportunities from primary level through to university pathways. It is an excellent resource for families currently in alternative education or those exploring this route. The event provides a wealth of information for learners, parents and learning partners.
