Career Assessments

Tutors & Exams South Africa offers professional Career Assessments designed to support candidates in making informed decisions about their education pathways, subject choices, and future careers.

Our assessments are facilitated by Laura Cotton, an HPCSA Registered Psychometrist (Independent Practice) (PMT0102458), using recognised psychometric tools to evaluate how individuals think, learn, and where they are most likely to succeed.

These assessments provide clear, objective insights to guide candidates through important academic and career decisions, particularly in relation to subject selection and long-term planning within Cambridge International Education, Pearson Edexcel, and IEB pathways.

Assessment Options

We offer three specialised Career Assessment packages, each tailored to different stages of a candidate’s academic journey:

Subject Choice Assessment – R4,950

This assessment is designed for candidates selecting school subjects. It evaluates aptitude, personality, and interests to support confident and informed subject choices aligned with future education and career pathways.

Career Choice Assessment (Standard) – R5,500

This comprehensive assessment explores a candidate’s strengths, personality, and career interests. It is designed to align subject choices, further education, and potential career paths, and is recommended for candidates seeking structured guidance.

Career Choice Assessment (Extended) – R7,000

This extended assessment provides a more in-depth and holistic evaluation. In addition to aptitude and personality, it includes elements such as emotional intelligence and personal drivers, offering a broader understanding of long-term success, fulfilment, and career direction.

Assessment Format

  • Assessments are conducted in person at our Pretoria exam centre
  • Group bookings are available upon request
