Celebrating Achievement: Our 2026 Merit Evening

At Tutors & Exams South Africa, we believe academic achievements deserve to be recognised and celebrated. Many of our candidates, particularly those in home-schooling, online or alternative education pathways, do not always have the opportunity to experience a formal awards evening. Our Merit Evening is designed to change that.

The Tutors & Exams SA Merit Evening will take place on 23 April 2026, and it is a celebration dedicated entirely to our candidates, their families and the educators who support them. It is an opportunity to pause, reflect and acknowledge the hard work, commitment and perseverance that go into each academic journey.

The evening will include a musical item, an awards presentation recognising academic achievements, and a relaxed social gathering afterwards. This creates space not only to celebrate success, but also to connect with other families and educators who form part of the wider Tutors & Exams SA community.

Events like our Merit Evening are especially meaningful because they provide candidates with an in-person moment of recognition. Standing on a stage, receiving an award and being celebrated by those who support them can be a powerful and affirming experience, one that many learners in alternative education pathways may not otherwise have.

We are looking forward to hosting this special evening and celebrating the achievements of our candidates together.
