We take mental health very seriously at Tutors & Exams South Africa. Our candidates face unique pressures within alternative and online learning environments, and many navigate their studies independently. This can sometimes feel overwhelming or isolating, even for strong students. Confidence does not come only from knowing your content, it also comes from feeling supported, understood and mentally prepared for the journey ahead.

This is exactly why we believe in supporting candidates beyond academics. We want every candidate who walks through our doors to feel calm, capable and confident, not only for exam day but throughout their entire learning experience. Healthy coping skills, emotional awareness and mental clarity all help candidates perform at their best.

To strengthen this support system, we have partnered with Evexia Psychiatric Day Hospital, a team of dedicated mental health professionals who specialise in helping young people manage stress, anxiety, pressure and emotional challenges. Evexia was present throughout the October and November exam season to show support, offer guidance and ensure that candidates felt seen and cared for during one of the most demanding times of the year.

Through this partnership, candidates and families have access to professional guidance, structured support programmes and resources that promote emotional wellbeing. The goal is simple. To ensure that no candidate ever feels alone in their academic journey and to create a safe space where mental health is valued just as much as academic achievement.
