ScienceMatters was created in 2008 to assist home schooled students with Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. We focus on the Cambridge International Examinations for IGCSE and AS level.
Classes are presented in in our laboratory with a strong emphasis on practical work to aid understanding of the subjects. Students receive weekly homework, and assessment is done on a regular basis. We have a 3-month exam preparation program that can be attended after a student completed the required coursework.
Dr Casper Steenkamp has a PhD in Physical Chemistry, an area of Chemistry which demands a sound understanding of chemistry, physics, mathematics and statistics. Any prospective science/mathematics/engineering student can benefit from his more than 25 years of experience as a Scientist and active Promoter of Science & Mathematics Education.
