IGSY’s English was founded by Linda Smith, who has 17 years of teaching experience. This tutoring company is all about personal attention, to-the-point and skills-based teaching. Linda’s lessons are interactive and limited to small groups. She is a qualified teacher, registered with SACE, and has been tutoring Cambridge IGCSE since 2018.
Programs offered through online teaching:
- Pre-International GCSE:
- Duration: 12 months
- Structure: Introduction of International GCSE concepts and language basics, like grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary are taught.
- International GCSE:
- Duration: 12-18 months
- Structure: Completion of syllabus and thereafter 5-8 months of intensive exam training.
- International GCSE English Exam Crash Course:
- Duration: 4 – 6 months
- Structure: Intensive exam training for students who have completed the syllabus independently. Students must be proficient in the basics of the English Language (grammar etc) This course is specifically designed for the months leading up to the official exam. T’s and C’s apply (Language Assessment Test).
